Lightvessel is both an NFT collectible and a wall mountable physical sculpture. The Lightvessel collection includes 100 NFTs paired with 100 Physical sculptures that will be sent out to the NFT holders around the world at no additional cost. Each Lightvessel NFT is a 1/1 digital animation that is paired with a physical version. Lightvessel owners are encouraged to keep their digital NFT and physical objects together in order to unlock all of the features including syncronized digital and physical airdrops. The NFT is also a certificate of ownership.

As the first owner of a Lightvessel NFT you will have the option to redeem a one-time usable code to unlock a physical edition of your Lightvessel NFT. Your physical item will be shipped to the location of your choice for no additional cost. The Lightvessel is designed to be viewed in normal lighting conditions and does not require electricity, although plugging in the electrical cord will add light features. All lighting is done with LED’s or energy efficient light sources. Each box has a different interior build so the type of lighting and effects can vary. There is an emphasis on high-quality production standards. The materials used are all premium museum quality and built to last, the size formats I am using are non-standard which adds considerable cost to produce the 80 x 80 cm engravings, and the extra-large format archival film prints. Extreme care has been devoted to the production of every box.

Lightvessel is only getting started and was the subject and title of my Masters Thesis in Media Art & Design at the Bauhaus University, Weimar (Lightvessel, August 2021). Each of the 100 boxes are a unique work of art and are published on KnownOrigin.io. Each piece is built one at a time as the project proceeds. With each Lightvessel sold I am able to further increase production speed and reach the goal of 100 boxes sooner. Thank you for your interest and support of this project!

To celebrate my goal of building over half of the Lightvessels I will release the 1st modification for ALL current and future Lightvessel owners. This optional modification NFT allows you to apply a permanent change to your Lightvessel, the change will result in an updated NFT & matching physical updates shipped to owners at no cost.

A collectors appreciation celebration event somewhere in the Metaverse.

100% Sold:

Modifyer #2 release: to celebrate my goal of building all 100 boxes I will release the 2nd modification NFT for ALL Lightvessel owners and they will have the option of redeeming this 2nd modification to make permanent changes to their Lightvessel. If the optional modification is applied they will recieve an updated NFT & Physical items in the mail.

Bonus: The outcome of the collection will be affected by the decisions made by the collectors – I will document this in a high-quality BOOK showing all 100 boxes in their final form.  All owners will receive a special edition version of the book limited to 100 editions.
